Back-to-School Immunization Clinics Offered Throughout August at No Cost to Residents

As summer comes to a close, many families are making preparations for school to start.  One of the most important items to check off your list for back-to-school preparations is to make sure that your child’s immunizations are up to date.  Immunizations are one of the most important ways to protect children from disease and to keep them healthy and happy as they go through the school year! 


The Texas County Health Department will be holding Back-To-School walk-in clinics the entire month of August.  Walk-in clinics at the Houston office: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm; and on Friday's from 10:00 am to 4:30 pm. Walk-in clinics at the Cabool office  Wednesday's from 8:30 am – 3:30pm.

Parents wishing to have their children vaccinated should bring a current copy of the child’s immunization record.
